Worst movie I've seen is...?

Well it is tough to definetively say "this is the worst movie I have ever seen", but if you are like me one film will stand above the rest of the crown ewhen thinking about it. That's not to say that it is surely the worst of the worse, but that it was so awful that its ridiculousness stuck with you all this time.

I'm ashamed to admit that I even saw this movie, even if I didn't know what to expect (but I kind of did) going in. Inspector Gadget...even after...what?...10 years?...it still surprises me just how bad I found the film. I made a promise to myself at the end of watching it...if it will still be my worst movie in 10 years I have to see it again, so that I can check if it is really that crappy. Guess I've got to keep my word; just don't know if I can endure it again...time will tell...will report when the day comes :)

What is the worst movie you have ever seen?

Terriers

The biggest surprise of this fall for me; this new show combines buddy genre with crime shows and the outcome is something magical. Twists and turns almost every episode, the season arc is really interesting and so are the individual stories which are believable and insane at the same time. Actors are really well chosen and have a lot of chemistry together. Give Terriers a shot, you won't regret it and with ratings prrety much in the toilet so far season 1 maybe the only chance this great show will get.

Football Manager 2011

One of the best time wasters in the world…and believe me, if you start playing it you won’t have any free time left. I always liked managerial games and still Football Manager blew me away the first time I played it. Just make sure you have a LOT of time, because it is not a game that you can play in a couple of minutes. 

In all fairness, the new edition doesn’t bring a lot of novelties (a bunch of smaller upgrades), but how can you improve on perfection. If you like sports managerial games do yourself a favour and try it. You won’t regret it; maybe your wife or husband will...but you certainly won’t.

Fritt Vilt aka Cold Prey

When I was visiting Norway last month, there were ads for this new film everywhere in Oslo. It was supposed to be the third film of a trilogy called Fritt Vilt. If you like slasher movies (I am not their biggest fan) this is one of the better ones. Friends, abandoned hotel, deranged killer, even a story (a rare thing in these kind of movies)...all you need to know.

p.s. I also saw the second one and it wasn't even close to the first one, so I think I am going to skip on the third one when it comes out.

The Walking Dead

I have to tell you about this new show called The Walking Dead...Fist off. I'm NOT a fan of zombie movies, but after 2 episodes this looks very promising. It's a story about a deputy, who is shot and later wakes up from what seem to be a coma. He finds that there is a new virus out there which turns people into zombies. I know...so far very predictible, but the show HAS something...maybe it is Frank Darabont (director of one of my favourite movies of all time; Shawshank Redemption) or maybe it's something else...all I know is that after these two episodes I'm expecting great things from this show.
